Sway is a UK HipHop artist from Ghanian origins. He grew up in North London, with most of his early years experimenting with music and remixing his idols. He got into the rapping game quite early too after encouragement from friends. He got to the final of both Dingwalls Open Mic Sessions and Choice FMs Rapology 99.

He started to pursue a solo career after a few years in crews and groups on his cousin DJ Inks DnB songs. He progressed onto making his own mixtapes and making ringtones commercially.

He has featured on games such as Need for Speed and FIFA Street. His easy approach to spitting on the track has earnt him respect from many DJs including Westwood, Zane Lowe and Mistajam.

More recently, hes has been working with artists such as Akon, Jay Sean and Mr Hudson. A mixtape is to be released in the very near future as a prequel to his third solo album which has been announced already.

I reckon he has produced some of the most meaningful and full bodied UK Hip Hop tracks around and should steer well clear of things like his latest release Mercedes Benz.
